Doug Blasdell Outreach Program

The Workout fans all over the country now know that trainer Doug Blasdell passed away in January. Tuesday's episode brought this to forefront toward the end of the show. There was much speculation about what happened to him and why details of his passing haven't been released. The sad fact is that he is gone. I will miss his warm smile that greeted viewers of the show.

In light of what has happened over the course of a few months, an organization has been established in his memory known as the Doug Blasdell Outreach Program. It is hosted by the Los Angeles City College Foundation and donations to the organization will help fund student scholarships, Gay and Lesbian awareness programs, HIV educational material and more.
